Climate Timeline and Correlating Periods of Human and Earth History

Approach various interdisciplinary aspects of Earth History and their interactivity, with the emerging and development of human and human-like species in an environmental context.

Living on Earth isn't easy. We are a tiny part of it! We developed us, and our brain grows bigger and bigger. We made our life comfortable, and we considered self-evident that nature belongs to us.
Now, we came to the knowledge that we are part of nature which we have been destroying for millennia. Understanding how we interact with nature, we will be able to protect it. But to understand, we need to know how everything has evolved, and how it interacts.
We are part of a chain, and every chain is as strong as its weakest link!

Establish correlations!

The online view of Earth's history over the last 20 million years addresses various interdisciplinary aspects of Earth's history and their interactivity, along with the emergence and development of human and human-like species. This new graph focuses on high-precision dating, so far possible, regarding the overall timing of the events.

The goal of the Timeline is the correlation of the Earth Science with Archaeology, History and Anthropology.

Here, you will see how much it cares to hold together; how devastating the wars are; our evolutionary stage and to think about what possibilities we further have to fill the gap between our biological and technological evolution.

A references list doesn't exist, but we have given the DOI Nr. While at its begin the compilation was not scientific research, it lacks some references. You can consider them or not.
Further, comments and suggestions will be appreciated, as help too.

Reporting, archiving, research and outreach

We are a group of people (artist & computer scientists) interested in the increase and diffusion of knowledge. We like to underline the benefits of humanistic education. Our goal is to promote an understandable scientific database, to document, understand, and disseminate information about global climate & human evolution history; to make it available to scientists, civil authorities, and the public; to encourage reflection between climate and human actions relationships.

The creation of this website was possible thanks to many thousands of hours of pro bono work. We are grateful to our families and some scientists who appreciated our work, along with the netidee.at financial support.

With the help of the working tool, which is the computer, a lot of information can be processing, visualized and summarized. We will be happy to attain new collaborations and support, but useful collaborations within the project require more than the ability to type in word lists.
